About us
Indore Management Association (IMA), an association of entrepreneurs and professional managers was formed in 1963. The association was registered in July 1990 under the provision of M.P. Non -Trading Corporation Act. 1962. IMA is affiliated to All India Management Association (AIMA) as one of its constituent bodies.
The objectives of the Association are:-
  To provide a forum and facilities for the exchange of information and experience.
  To promote development of sound management practices.
  To promote, encourage and take part in survey and research studies in the management field.
 
  To cooperate and collaborate with other institutions having similar objectives.
Major Milestones  
  10 consecutive LMA award – IMA has been a winner of 8 ‘Best LMA’ awards ’95-’06.
  IMA is AIMA’s permanent LMA committee member.
  Partner Country Concept:
  With the Partner Country concept at each ensuing IMA National Management Convention, IMA brings International perspective into focus through success stories and interactions from partner countries. Every country is achieving certain excellence in management of its resources in its own unique manner, from which India can benefit. The concept gives opportunities for interactions on/with:

  On the education and socio-economic front the partner country support is taken for development and betterment of the region.

IMA had successfully organized National Management Convention 2002 with Partner country Federal Republic of Germany, National Management Convention 2003 with Partner country United Kingdom, and National Management Convention 2002 with Partner country United States of America.
  AIMA-LMA Relationship Charter
  This was formed to lay the right foundation for the National Management Movement to be able to play a major role in India’s giant economic leap in the coming decades. This would help AIMA & IMA to add value to each other and reinforce each other’s activities to accomplish the mission of “ Facilitating individuals and organizations realize their potential”. This would raise the professional competence of the managers in the country and enhance their contribution in building and developing the nation and the society.
Membership Profile  
  IMA has all professionals, individuals, small, medium and large organizations engaged in Manufacturing & Trading, Service fields in the Private Sector as well as Public Sector, including financial Institutions, Banks, Government Departments, and Consultants as its members. IMA has 200 institutional, 800 individual, 500 Student members and growing rapidly.
